Resident Profiles

Wanna be profiled? Looking for a chance to shine?

Then be profiled!

The Department of Housing and Residences is updating their website with a new feature: profiles of residents currently living in one of UW's residences.

You can log on to the website and fill out your own profile - explain your experience at CLV, your personal interests, why you enjoy living here, etc. Currently, there is no profiles for residents living at CLV (North or South) yet and we've been contacted by the website developer herself to ensure our residence is equally represented.... AS IT SHOULD BE! CLV WOOT WOOT!!!!

Click on the link and take a look for yourself. See what it takes (it doesn't take much). Then fill out a profile if you're interested.

http://www.housing.uwaterloo.ca/profiles/

This is all you. You get your chance to say what you want..of course it has to be approved. After it gets approved by the developer then your profile will be online for everyone to see! How exciting is that? Is this something that would have helped you make a decision about where to live? If so, why not contribute?

I hope to see some of your smiling faces on that website soon!

Don Evaluations

THANK YOU!!!!!

To all my residents,

I thank you sincerely again for being so awesome and filling out don evaluations for me. I appreciate all your honesty and feedback. There are some areas I need to focus on and it helps to know what they are. And I have certainly trying my best to incorporate your ideas for programming into the time we have left.

So I encourage you to check this blog regularly for updates and also read the emails I send you.

A few things that are in the works but I have yet to put on the calendar include:
*Pizza or Sundaes and Movie Night
*Year-end celebration ...getting fancied up for dinner and dancing at Bomber (this will be near the end of March)
*CD/DVD of all your memories of this year at CLV

I can't say thank you enough, just know that I appreciate each one of you very much! And I'm very much privileged to have had you as my first group of residents!

Cheers,
Cecilia

Chili Cook-off

Like Chili? Want to show off your cooking skills??

Then you may want to be a participant in the Great Chili Cook-off!

So here's the deal. You may get together with one other person from our units (ie. 1-25) and make a chili...from scratch or from prepared foods (but don't tell me that). Make it spicy, make it mild, make it with tomatoes, make it with turkey. Whatever floats your boat. And then we'll bring it all together either at my Unit or the CC for a taste test. Judges will be on hand to rate the best-tasting chili and however else Chili can be graded. PRIZES will be awarded! And everyone can have some delicious chili to enjoy.

So sign up for the Great Chili Cook-off today! Email me to let me know you want in: clvdon@gmail.com

Tentative date: March 21, 2007, 7pm. (Alternative date is either March 20 or 22...I'm not sure who has night class when...so if you have a preference, let me know and I'll choose the majority).

Cheers,
Cecilia
